VA Question: Food Expense Couple's Share

WorkWORLD asks you about the percentage of the food expenses that you and your spouse pay in order to calculate for you the impact of getting food stamps on your net income.

If, for example, you say that you and your spouse pay 50% of the food expenses, then WorkWORLD adds 50% of the value of your household's food stamps to the income section of your Numerical Results.

NOTE: If you say that in the current situation you do not get food stamps, WorkWORLD posts a zero in the current situation column for your food stamps amount. In all of the other "What If?" columns, WorkWORLD uses the amount of food stamps you would be eligible for in each situation.
