Text Results - Notes

A "Note" will appear in Text Results to inform you that something has occurred or may occur that you should be aware of.

The initial onscreen Note gives you a brief explanation about the situation. If you click the "More Information" link under the Note, you can view a more in-depth explanation. (See Text Results for an explanation of how to move to and activate Text Result "More Information" links using the keyboard.)

Example:

If others receive SSDI (Title II) benefits based on your earnings record, you will receive the following Text Results Note:

It goes on to say that your eligibility for SSDI and Medicare will not stop while you are in your Extended Period of Eligibility. The text also explains the 36 month Extended period of Eligibility. There are many hyperlinks to additional information explaining many of the terms used in the topic.

IMPORTANT: When a note advises you to contact SSA, do so immediately.

 

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Consult with your local SSA office (and the agencies that administer any other benefits you may have) about your WorkWORLD results before you take action based on those results. If possible, you should print a copy of your inputs and outputs and have them with you when you make the call and/or go into the office.
