The South Dakota Department of Labor lists "Experience Works" as one of the services it provides. It provides this service through a national, nonprofit organization called Experience Works.
Experience Works provides training and employment services for mature workers. Established in 1965 as Green Thumb, and renamed Experience Works in 2002, the organization reaches more than 125,000 mature individuals in all 50 states and Puerto Rico each year.
Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) - A federally funded program in which low-income seniors receive counseling and community service assignments (earning minimum wage) at community organizations prior to transitioning into the workforce.
Experience Works Training Services - A wide variety of computer-skills and technology-training services, and other job-related training programs.
Geezer.com - An e-commerce Web site that provides senior artisans and crafters a nationwide market for their unique, handcrafted goods.
