Montana UI - Unearned Income

Individuals are totally disqualified for Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits for any week of unemployment with respect to which they have received compensation for disability under any state or federal Workers' Compensation or Occupational Disease program or under Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). The receipt of Railroad Unemployment Insurance benefits is also totally disqualifying.

Pension payments from a plan to which the employee made no contribution require a dollar-for-dollar reduction in a claimant's weekly benefit amount if the claimant's UI entitlement is based upon work for an employer who contributed to the plan and if that work affected eligibility for or the amount of the pension payment.
