The per capita average Medicaid expenditures for each State (listed below) are used to calculate the State 1619(b) Thresholds. If an SSI recipient has gross earnings greater than the threshold amount, then SSA uses these Medicaid expenditure amounts in calculating Individualized 1619(b) Thresholds. If an SSI recipient’s gross earnings are above both thresholds, the recipient is no longer eligible for 1619(b) Medicaid Coverage.

NOTE: The 2009 numbers are used to calculate the Threshold amounts that are in effect for the year 2010. If you are using this version of WorkWORLD after January 1, 2011, you can get the latest numbers from SSA at:
