MassHealth CommonHealth Eligibility

It is possible for people to be eligible for CommonHealth even if they have other health insurance coverage. CommonHealth may pay for services that the other health insurance does not pay for and/or for co payments or deductibles under the other health insurance plan.

CommonHealth requires that members get all the health insurance available to them. If a member is eligible for other health insurance but can’t afford it, CommonHealth may pay those premiums. For additional information, call the CommonHealth Premium Coordinator at 1-800-462-1120.

For an application or more information, call the MassHealth Customer Service Center at 1-800-841-2900 (TTY: 1-800-497-4648 for people who are deaf or hard of hearing).
