Answer Yes to see what happens to your eligibility for Supplemental Security Income (SSI, or Title XVI) if WorkWORLD applies some or all of your disability related work expenses as potential Impairment Related Work Expenses (IRWE).
You previously indicated that you would like to receive SSI but you believe that your income or resources are too great to allow you to be eligible. You also reported that you had disability related work expenses, and entered a dollar amount for them.
If this is not correct, go back and correct your answers.
If your countable monthly income exceeds the limit for SSI eligibility because your earned income is greater than the Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA) limit, you will not be eligible for SSI benefits. If, however, you included your disability-related work expenses in an IRWE, then your countable monthly income might not be above the SGA level. You would then become eligible for SSI benefits (assuming that you are otherwise eligible).
