Food Stamps - Household - Massachusetts

A food stamp household is defined as:

·      an individual who lives alone

·      an individual living with others who purchases food and prepares meals separately

·      a group of individuals living together who purchase food and prepare meals together

An individual living with his or her spouse must be in the same food stamp household as the spouse. A child(ren) under age 18, except for a foster care child(ren), must live in the same food stamp household as the adult household member(s). A child(ren) under age 22 living with his or her natural, adopted or stepparent(s) must be in the same food stamp household as the parent(s).
