Florida WAGES - Eligible Family Members

The following members of a family are eligible for Temporary Cash Assistance under the WAGES program if all other eligibility requirements are met:

·      A minor child who resides with a custodial parent or other adult caretaker relative.

·      The parent of a minor child with whom he child resides.

·      The caretaker relative with whom the minor child resides who chooses to have their needs and income included in the family.

·      Unwed minor parent and their children if the unwed minor parent lives at home or in an adult-supervised setting and if Temporary Cash Assistance is paid to an alternative payee.

·      A pregnant woman in the last month of pregnancy (unless a physician has ordered restriction from work activity. When under physician restricted work activity, Temporary Cash Assistance is available during the last trimester of pregnancy.)
