To be eligible for supportive services or Temporary Cash Assistance under the WAGES Program an eligible family member must also meet the following requirements:
· An applicant must be a US citizen, or a qualified non-citizen.
· An applicant must be a resident of Florida.
· Each member of a family must provide the member’s Social Security number or proof of application for a number.
· A minor child must reside with a custodial parent or parents or with a relative caretaker defined under WAGES Program guidelines.
· Each family must have a minor child and meet the income and resource requirement of the program. All minor children who live in the family, as well as the parents of the minor children, are included in the eligibility determination, unless specifically excluded.
· Each family member who does not meet an exemption must Work Register with the Local WAGES Coalition Service Provider.
Individuals are required to participate in a WAGES work activity (see the topic Florida WAGES - Work Requirements) as a condition of eligibility for Temporary Cash Assistance.
