Family Independence Program - Applicant and Benefit Group - South Carolina

An applicant for the Family Independence Program (FIP) is a person who has directly, or through an authorized representative, made application for FIP benefits at the County Department of Social Services (DSS).

The benefit group includes all of the persons whose needs must be included in the computation of the FIP benefit.
