FAIM - Job Supplement Program (JSP)

If your family is determined eligible to participate in Families Achieving Independence in Montana (FAIM) and has needs in addition to cash, you may choose benefits of the Job Supplement Program (JSP). You may receive any or all of the following benefits to meet your needs:

·      Enhanced child support enforcement assistance;

·      The federal portion of child support arrearages;

·      Child care allowance of up to $200 per month per child for child care expenses incurred as the result of employment;

·      A limited Medicaid package for adults and full Medicaid coverage for children and pregnant women in the family;

·      A one-time employment related payment to cover items and/or services necessary to obtain and/or maintain employment;

·      Transitional (extended) Medicaid and child care if eligibility is lost due to increased earned or unearned income; and

·      Information about and assistance in applying for the Earned Income Credit (EIC).
