Developmental Disabilities Services - Residential Programs Overview- Oklahoma

The Developmental Disabilities Services Division (DDSD) offers a wide array of residential options. Individuals who require residential supports are provided services determined by the interdisciplinary team to represent the least restrictive appropriate setting possible. The individual, family member and/or representative have an active role in identifying residential service needs.

All individuals must meet eligibility requirements as established by DDSD policy as a prerequisite to participation in residential services.

The type of residential service chosen depends upon individual needs:

·             Agency companion services

·             Assisted living residence (with and without supports)

·             Group home

·             Public ICF/MR (Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded)

·             Specialized foster care

·             In-Home Supports
