If you received the 1st six months of Transitional Medicaid, then you and others in your Assistance Unit are eligible for a 2nd six months of Transitional Medicaid because your Assistance Unit's gross earnings minus childcare expenses do not exceed 185% of the Standard of Need amount.
The childcare expenses to be deducted are not limited to $175 or $200 per month (unlike in other TANF Related and FPL Related covered groups). They must, however, be reasonable.
Eligibility also requires that:
· You continue to have living in your home a child under age 18 (or a student age 18 who is expected to graduate before age 19); and
· The child is living in the home of a parent or specified caretaker relative who continues to work unless there is good cause for quitting a job.
