DE Alert: Ineligibility for Transitional Medicaid - 1st Six Months

You are not eligible for Transitional Medicaid because either:

·      your Assistance Unit does not include children living in the home of a parent or specified caretaker relative, or

·      your Assistance Unit does not have earnings that would make you ineligible for Low Income Families with Children (LIFC) Section 1931 Medicaid.

NOTE: You must have lost LIFC Medicaid benefits due to an increase in the earnings of someone in the Assistance Unit (or loss of the time-limited earned income disregard) in order to be initially eligible for Transitional Medicaid.
